Safeguarding Policy

Our commitment to protecting vulnerable adults and user data

Vulnerable Adult Protection

We provide wellbeing support tools and emergency resources. We do not attempt direct intervention but ensure users have immediate access to crisis helplines and professional support.

Data Protection

Personal data is protected through access controls, secure transmission and restricted processing. Contracted service providers process limited data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Duty of Care

DriverWell is accessible, evidence-based, and designed with driver wellbeing in mind. We provide support tools, not clinical treatment.

Crisis Response

Users in crisis are immediately directed to emergency services, crisis helplines, and professional support organizations.

Our Safeguarding Principles

1. User Autonomy

Users retain full control over their data and can delete their account at any time. We respect user privacy and independence.

2. Transparent Limitations

DriverWell is a support tool, not a substitute for professional help. We are clear about what we can and cannot provide.

3. Accessible Design

DriverWell uses WCAG 2.2 AA as its accessibility target and includes sensory preferences. Independent accessibility assurance remains an active evidence priority.

4. Evidence-Based Content

All health information is sourced from reputable organizations (NHS, wellbeing charities, occupational health bodies).

5. Secure Infrastructure

Data is protected through secure transmission and access controls. Independent security testing and formal evidence review remain part of DriverWell's assurance plan.
