Meet Wells - the DriverWell Mascot
Wells is the face of DriverWell - a friendly HGV truck character who represents every driver, dispatcher, mechanic, and transport professional on the platform. Here is his story.

Who is Wells?
Wells is the face of DriverWell.
He is a friendly HGV truck character who represents every driver, dispatcher, mechanic, cleaner, and transport professional who uses the platform. He has big expressive eyes, a green hard hat with the DW badge, and the DriverWell blue-to-green swoosh stripe running along his side.
He was designed to put a face to the platform and to carry a simple message: it is OK to ask for help.
Why a mascot?
Mental health support in transport has a stigma problem. Many drivers will not use a wellbeing platform if it feels clinical, corporate, or like something their employer is watching. Wells changes that. He is warm, approachable, and a little bit cheeky. He makes the platform feel like it belongs to the people who use it, not to the people who run it.
He also travels well. A character works on social media in a way that a logo alone does not. Wells can carry a message on World Mental Health Day, on Blue Monday, on Remembrance Sunday, and on any other day when the transport industry needs a reminder that support is available.

Wells lives on the DriverWell homepage. Click on him and you will land on the Meet Wells page, where you can download any of his graphics and share them freely. No credit needed, no permission required. Just spread the word.
He will also appear on social media throughout the year, including:
- World Mental Health Day - 10 October 2026
- Remembrance Sunday - 8 November 2026, with a poppy to honour the many veterans who keep our roads moving
- Blue Monday - 18 January 2027, the day that hits hardest in the depths of winter

Wells was created because DriverWell needed a face that felt human, even if that face belongs to a truck. He represents the warmth and care that sits at the heart of everything this platform does.
