What's New on DriverWell -- August 2026 Update

DriverWell has had a busy few weeks. This post rounds up everything that has been added to the platform recently, so you know what is available and where to find it.

Post-Incident and Trauma Support

This is the addition we are most proud of this month. When a driver is involved in a fatal collision or a traumatic road incident, the system processes the event. The paperwork gets done, the statement gets taken, and the driver is largely left to manage the rest alone.

DriverWell now has a dedicated Post-Incident and Trauma Support section that fills that gap. It covers the full recovery pathway from the immediate aftermath through to longer-term recovery, a clear table of what responses are normal versus what needs professional attention, a four-phase employer duty-of-care checklist, and direct contact details for six specialist support organisations including Brake's National Road Victim Service, PTSD UK, RoadPeace, and Samaritans.

It is available at driverwell.co.uk/post-incident-support and is linked from the Support menu.

17 Toolbox Talks -- Now Including Physical Health and Ergonomics

The Toolbox Talks section has grown significantly. There are now 17 talks covering mental health, fatigue, stress, loneliness, financial wellbeing, sleep, grief, substance awareness, workplace culture, and a new set focused specifically on physical health and ergonomics.

The new physical health talks include: Back Pain -- The Injury That Ends Careers; Cab Ergonomics -- Setting Up Your Workspace Properly; Manual Handling -- The Right Technique Every Time; Whole-Body Vibration -- The Invisible Occupational Hazard; Eye Health -- What Every Driver Needs to Know; Hydration -- The Performance Factor Nobody Talks About; and Repetitive Strain Injury -- Protecting Your Hands, Wrists, and Shoulders.

Each talk is short, practical, and ends with a single action step. They are designed to be read in under five minutes or used as the basis for a team briefing. Find them at driverwell.co.uk/toolbox-talks.

Physical Health -- Now Inclusive of Everyone

The Physical Health section has been updated to reflect the full DriverWell audience. The language previously leaned heavily towards drivers. It now covers warehouse workers, office staff, transport managers, mechanics, dispatchers, and everyone else who keeps the industry moving.

The Exercise Routines section has also been updated with a new Chair Tai Chi tab -- six gentle seated movements that can be done on any chair, in any workplace, at any ability level. Whether you are on a loading bay, in a depot office, or behind a desk, there is something here for you.

Founding Twenty -- Driver Health Week Campaign

TruckEco secured Founding Twenty member number one before the wider Driver Health Week campaign. The remaining 19 Charter Partner places are offered at a fixed rate of 49 pounds per month for the first 12 months, payable by secure Stripe card subscription or BACS invoice with 30 days notice to cancel.

Charter Partners get their Duty of Care Evidence Score baseline dated to Driver Health Week 2026, permanent Founding Twenty recognition on the platform, and first call on the product roadmap.

The Free Dashboard remains free forever with no deadline. If you are an operator who wants to explore what DriverWell can do for your fleet without any commitment, that is the place to start.

SNAP Account -- Now an Industry Partner

SNAP Account has been added to the Industry Partnerships page. SNAP is the UK's leading cashless payment network for commercial vehicle operators, covering fuel, parking, tolls, and roadside services. The partnership reflects DriverWell's commitment to connecting transport workers with the practical tools and services that make their working lives easier.

Re-engagement Features

For registered users, DriverWell now sends a weekly Monday morning check-in nudge via push notification. If you have not been back for a while, you will also see a personalised welcome-back prompt on the homepage linking to RoadMate, the platform's AI support companion.

The Buddy Forum now shows a prompt for users who have not yet posted, to make it easier to start a conversation.

What's Coming Next

The Resend email integration is now in place, which means DriverWell will be able to send content emails directly to subscribers. The first subscriber email -- a teaser for the recent blog post on fatigue and the tachograph -- will go out once domain verification is complete.

The Android app submission to Google Play is also being progressed. The iOS version is in planning.

If you have suggestions for what you would like to see on DriverWell, use the Feedback link in the footer or start a thread in the Buddy Forum. The platform is built around what transport workers actually need -- and that feedback genuinely shapes what gets built next.
